PWEF – Who? What? Why?

Who We Are.

The Port Washington Education Foundation (PWEF) is an independent, nonprofit, community-based organization. Since, 2001, the PWEF has worked to raise funds and award educational grants to the Port Washington Public Schools.

What We Do.

The PWEF supports initiatives that are beyond basic educational requirements. School costs and needs are increasing every year, while at the same time, support at the federal and state levels have decreased. Over the past decade, the PWEF has actively raised funds and awarded grants to enhance and expand educational opportunities for all students in the Port Washington public schools. The Foundation actively seeks donations, grants and government funding in order to fund selected programs and resources.
